It took much longer than I had hoped, but I finally finished building all of my models. I'm beginning to seriously doubt my ability to have them all completely painted by November. For added motivation I've signed up for The Independent Characters 2013 Hobby Progress Challenge. It just so happens that the remaining models I have add up to just over the required 1850 points. I'm going to start out easy and attempt to paint 1 five man squad of dudes by the end of April. As I go on and hopefully get some momentum I'll expand. I'll be honest...I'm terrified of trying to paint those tomb blades.
The following pictures are my entire Necron force. Everybody is in there, painted, primed, assembled, whatever. The pics also show the quick and dirty board I made up last summer. Its just some plywood with sand, rocks, and other modeling type stuff on it to give it some texture. It's not very pretty but it works for the amount of room I have to store a gaming table (which is basically none). I'm contemplating attempting to assemble a makeshift light box just to help with some of these pictures, however I'm not sure its worth it because my camera is pretty old so I usually am better off with my iPhone.
Here is all the evil robots gathering together, most likely they are all waiting for a lube job. |
A little bit of an over shot from the flyer. |
Lycheguard with Overlord in front of my Monolith. |
Some of my Immortals, Praetorians, and a flyer moving around the egyptian themed terrain I got last year. |
Some Wraith's moving around terrain with a bunch of unpainted models behind them. They are coming to rape Karl. |
A few of my Deathmarks hiding out near the ruined Storm Raven. |

Ha... rape Karl. Can't rape the willing! FYI, after the 31st, I have the next two Sundays off. Even if you don't want to play, I would love just to hang out and shoot the breeze!
Why is raping me always so funny? Excellent job on the wRAPEths btw!
