Cryptek

Here's another crappy little finecast model with tons crap mold lines and lost detail that came to me all bent up and stupid, STUPID I SAY!  I painted him and slapped him on the ass as he exited the big evil robot factory.

Check out my ball, bro!

This is a cryptek model that I will most likely use as a Harbinger of Destruction.  Those are the guys that can pop out a high strength long range shot and once per game drop a solar flare (counts as night fighting for your opponents turn).  Although the guy that can teleport units around sounds fun, I usually play against shooty armies so forcing my opponent to deal with night fighting could be pretty useful.

For the color scheme I incorporated brass (my preferred color for low ranking HQ necrons) and used a turquoise blue highlight.  I am fairly happy with the way the model turned out, but very disappointed in the actual model...stupid finecast.

On a somewhat related note I've been slowly going through the Horus Heresy novels both in audio format and book format.  Dark Angels are dumb and boring, but Ultramarines are surprisingly cool and interesting.  I would highly recommend the "Know No Fear" novel that just recently came out.
